Born in Lubbock,
Texas, classically trained at Oklahoma City University, Aubrey Teeter sounds as
much at home on a Broadway stage as he does in a west-Texas honky-tonk.
After college Aubrey made the logical move to Nashville, working the business
side of music for almost 12 years. He then went on the road for two years with
Pearl River, as stage manager.
Aubrey has worked with Alan Jackson's management company and as a song plugger
on Music Row. While still pursuing his own music career, Aubrey shared the
stage, and shared guitars,
with such artists as Garth Brooks, Guy Clark, Vern Gosdin, Bryan White, Pearl
River, Toby Keith, and Reece Wilson, just to name a few. Most recently, using
the technical skills acquired in Nashville,
he produced an album for Texas newcomer, Jackson Tucker. Aubrey now sings his
original music, his lyrics and powerful vocals winning audiences over every
night. According to Teeter,
this has finally given him the satisfaction he always knew was waiting for him.
