Thanks for your interest in our IN THE MUSIC ROOM shows – our goal is
simple – promote singer/songwriters via a sampler of each artist’s personality
and original music in a ½ hour show which usually consists of 5 songs and an
interview. The music must be performed live in the studio (aka. THE MUSIC ROOM),
having others sit in to enhance your show is ok if agreed to in advance – the simpler
the better – after the taping, the show is mixed and slightly edited where
necessary (to take out obvious flaws) and enhance the artist and the music. We
peel one song from the show to attach to your picture on the webpage.
Then we post the show on the website and it is
available in 128 bit sound in a WMA (Windows Media) format, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Anyone in the world can listen to your
interview and enjoy your music. We want the “living room” feel for the show,
not the stage. We originally recorded the first 14 shows at the Historic Texas
Theater on the square in Waxahachie, but, unable to guarantee the proper mix
and feel, we moved the recording process to the real MUSIC ROOM, my studio, as
we intended to do originally.
What we need from you is 5 songs (that you would
want to do on the show) in MP3, WMA or
CD WAVE files to sample your
music – must be in a CD ROM, mailed (
We are planning on offering any CD’s that you
might have to sell as well on a 2/3 (artist) 1/3 (IMR) basis. We are planning
on setting up individual pages for each artist as well to feature a bio and all
the songs individually from each show.
We feel each show is a half-hour gem ready to be
enjoyed by planet Earth.
